CUPE NB’s First-Ever Wellness Forum: A Great Success!
Over the past two days, CUPE NB members came together to learn, connect, and prioritize wellness at our very first Wellness Forum, and what a success it was!
“A healthier workplace makes stronger unions.”
Members enjoyed a variety of activities, including art, beading, yoga, games, and self-reflection exercises, while also gaining valuable tools and knowledge to help them in their lives and leadership roles.
“Everybody is responsible for wellness.”
From educational workshops to a fun-filled BBQ, Bingo, and prize giveaways, there was plenty of learning, laughter, and leisure to go around.
“My key takeaway today is that stress is okay, and that we shouldn’t be afraid of it.” -Member in attendance.
Thank you to all our presenters, volunteers, and participants for helping make this inaugural event such a success. We hope everyone left feeling inspired and equipped with new tools for their wellness journey.
“Give yourself grace and kindness, and extend it to others.”- RD Sandy Harding
💚 We can’t wait to do it again and hope to see even more of you at next year’s Wellness Forum!
